When the temperature reaches 70 degrees in the early spring, one can only celebrate by sippin’ a sweet glass of lemonade!
This weekend we took the classic lemonade stand from a table and plastic cups at the end of a street to the next best bar top at any event!
Many weddings and events are going down unique routes when designing, and what a fabulous way to stand out from the crowd with a revitalized refreshment table!
We simply styled a weathered wood table with a lemon and sky color scheme to create a naturally nautical feel. A pitcher full of ranunculus, protea, hydrangeas, iris, and tropical greens sat in the corner, adding life and lushness to the table.
To highlight originality we revamped the classic “lemonade stand” sign into a chalkboard quote and cardboard banner. A galvanized tin tray held the drinks together, all poured in recycled blue rimmed glasses, garnished with a lemon wedge!
Another focal point of the table was the treat stand, stacked high with sugar sprinkled sponge cakes. We wanted to bring earthy elements out wherever we could in this tablescape so we topped the pyramid with flowers, greens, and a lemon slice!
Other décor elements included an unlit lantern filled with moss and lemons, a glass juicer, a jar of mini forks, and of course, a tall pitcher of iced lemonade.
Whether you’re planning a wedding, bridal shower, birthday, or backyard barbeque, a sweet and sugary lemonade stand could be the perfect addition for refreshing your guests!
